Chairman's Christmas update

Chairman Bill Quinn has issued the following update to fans over the festive period

Hello to you all,

As Christmas approaches I would like to update you all on some issues.

First of all, season tickets have been selling really well and a big thanks to you all, so hurry and get those left for your Christmas stockings as there’s limited availability on the silver and gold.

Moving onto the Keighley game on Boxing Day, 1pm kick off, Sean and the coaches are doing a fantastic job – I have been down with Mike to training several times and the team are gelling and looking really good.

Everybody is eager to get going as it’s a very exciting time here at the club with so much hard work being done, on and off the pitch.

It would be great to see as many of you as possible to cheer the lads on at Cougar Park, and I’m sure you can’t wait to see them all on the field.

Moving on, our lottery will be updated in the new year and we’re looking to get as many people on this with updates to follow.

Regarding our Melrose training facility, we have been working on updating the facilities and we’re looking to expand these next year.

It’s been a very busy eight months since I became chairman and we as a board have achieved and overcome so much in such a short space of time.

We’ve also gelled together over this time and I can tell you this is not the same club that was taken over earlier this year.

That is testament to all who have worked so hard in such a short time.

We’re on target in all areas and ahead of targets in others.

We’re looking for a sales person and are strengthening the team off the pitch.

We have the team, so we are now concentrating on building the foundations of this great club so we become sustainable and we need as many people of Oldham on board to achieve this.

There will be more exciting news in the new year and we will keep you all updated.

Thank you all for your support and to all those that have helped our club in any way.

Myself and the board would like to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new year.

We really are stronger together.

Your chairman,
Bill Quinn
