CHAIRMAN Bill Quinn has issued an update to fans after Sunday’s victory over Halifax watched in front of 1521 spectators – the club’s highest home attendance since a 26-22 win over Bradford Bulls in 2017, nearly seven years ago.
Hi everyone, first of all I want to say thanks to all our great supporters.
Sunday was a really great atmosphere and the team really appreciated the support and noise.
This is the start of the Roughyeds revival, and we’re going to keep marching forward.
We’re frightened of nobody – we will stand together, side by side, with pride in our hearts as we are Oldham and we are proud, tough honest hard-working people with a team dedicated to the same DNA.
We are all Oldham and proud, we as a board could not be more uplifted – and on Sunday I saw a tear in a few eyes.
These are the people that believe we are on our way to create our own history and I hope to see an even bigger crowd on Sunday.
I will come into the fans bar to chat to you guys – gameday is very busy for us all, but I will be there.
We’re working hard to make gamedays more of an event and improve the matchday experience.
As a result, The Boundaries will be back performing live before and after the game – so get yourselves down.
The music we now have on during the game will be fine-tuned to try to appeal to all.
We have pie and peas hospitality available which include entertainment and presentations before and after the match in the Broadway Suite.
I’m pleased to announce fans without cash and wishing to pay on the day with a card can now purchase their ticket at the club shop for entry at the turnstiles.
