YEDS running coaches

YEDS are running coaches to away games this season, starting with the third-round Challenge Cup tie at Barrow on Saturday week, February 10, kick-off 12.30pm – a trip which club chairman Quinn is subsidising in a bid to help YEDS and fans who are keen to be at Craven Park to cheer on THEIR team.

An excited Yeds official told members of the supporters’ group: “Chairman Bill Quinn has very kindly subsidised most of the cost of the coach so that it’s only £5 now for adults and free for children (two kids per paying adult).”

The first 53-seat bus is sold out already and a second 53-seater is now live on the YEDS website.

YEDS members travel free on this one and there will be pick-ups at the Fox and Pine (8.15am) and the Carters’ Rest (8.30am).

You can book your place on a coach by contacting YEDS asap because interest is mounting all the time so the sooner you do it the greater is the chance you wont be disappointed.

The tie will be played on the Saturday with a 12.30 kick-off and BBC Sport will be there to stream it live for BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Online.

Back to the YEDS travel plans for the season ahead. They plan to run coaches to most away games and as a general rule the more people who book the bigger the bus and the cheaper per person.

A £10 non-refundable deposit will reserve a place and members will get up to 15 per cent discount off advertised prices.

A 16-seater will cost the fan £33 each; a 31-seater will see the price go down to £21 ;per person and a 53-seater will see the charge drop again to £17.

Fans aged 15 or under will travel for £5 when accompanied by a full paying adult.
