ROARY, our popular mascot, was joined by Dave Thomas (Yeds) when our hard-working Supporters’ Group, went to a Higginshaw youth section training session last night to donate a supply of rugby balls which other junior clubs in the area had received previously,
“Everything about YEDS is positive,” said Dave, “and it was a real pleasure to accompany Roary to Higgy,”

OUR popular club mascot, Roary, a hit with people of all ages, but especially with young fans, looked smart and well-groomed after his pre-season makeover when he paraded around Boundary Park at the Rochdale game.

Roary, our loveable club mascot, had a date at the Civic Centre where he met the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Zahid Chauhan OBE, who in turn was more than happy to stand by Roary, proudly wearing the Roughyeds’ club scarf, while our rugby-mad lion signed the borough’s visitors’ book.
