ORSA – 2019 Season
Everyone involved with Oldham RLFC is looking ahead to the fresh challenge and excitement that the 2019 season will bring. Against a background of changes in the RFL funding and the game in general, it’s now more crucial than ever, for us to all pull together, united in ensuring a robust future for the game.
For our part, ORSA, the official but independently run supporters club of Oldham RLFC, will continue to work in support of the club, by backing the coaching and playing staff in a number of ways. Ahead of the season, we have already committed to continuing our sponsorship of Liam Bent, winner of the 2018 Supporters’ Player of the Year award, an award also sponsored by ORSA. We shall also continue to fund some of the nutritional requirements of the squad and contribute to the club lottery.
Following a season where ORSA also provided funding for a squad ‘bonding’ event, from the receipts at the 2 match day raffles, Scott Naylor expressed his appreciation of the work done by ORSA, in support of him and the squad, when he addressed fans at the Awards Night. This is credit to all fans who have supported ORSA in one way or another during the past year.
ORSA’S FUNDS – Are achieved by annual memberships; donations; match day fund raising; various events. Every penny is used to benefit the Roughyeds squad and ORSA is fully accountable to its members.
