It was the side's first match since being formed back in August, with Oldham setting down a marker ahead of the Northern League 3 campaign, set to get underway in late April.

Full-back Megan Hobin scored a hat-trick while winger Sinead Fletcher and centre Megan Farnhill both grabbed two tries with Jaymie Hampson-Phow, Kadie Ashworth, Faye Leddy and Ella Wheeler also getting on the scoresheet.

Hooker Ashworth was also successful in five of her 12 conversion attempts.

Had the game not been abandoned after 60 minutes due to Keighley being unable to field a full 13 because of injuries, the Roughyeds may have secured an even greater victory.
