It was the side's second encounter after hammering Keighley 58-0, and the women put up a fight against an experienced Sheffield outfit.

Prop Darcey Price got the ball rolling for Roughyeds, with Megan Hobin and Katie Stephens also getting on the scoresheet before Price found a second late on.

Hooker Kadie Ashworth was successful in one of four conversion attempts.
