McKinney in on short-term loan deal

Oldham have brought in prop Tom McKinney on an initial short-term one-week loan deal from Warrington Wolves.

The 19-year-old will be available for selection for this weekend’s Betfred Championship match away at Sheffield Eagles.

McKinney made his Super League debut for the Wolves last year against Salford in August and has since made two more appearances at first team level.

He also gained experience playing on loan at Whitehaven and Widnes Vikings last year.

Roughyeds head coach Alan Kilshaw said:
