Women back in action this Sunday

Roughyeds Women return to action this weekend for their penultimate game of the season, with Ben Marsden’s side travelling to Crosfields for a 2pm kick-off.

Victory on Sunday would guarantee Oldham a top-two finish in their inaugural Northern League 3 campaign, with the Roughyeds looking to cap an impressive first season with a strong finish.

Crosfields, meanwhile, head into the contest having lost their last four matches and will be hoping to return to winning ways on home soil.

Oldham came out on top in a hard-fought encounter when the sides met at the Netpar Training Centre in July, securing a 22-10 victory.

Head coach Ben Marsden has named a strong squad for their last away trip of the season.
