Oldham are pleased to announce an upcoming Golf Day, taking place at Crompton and Royton Golf Club on August 6 as part of the club’s 150-year anniversary celebrations.
The event will be a 4 BBB Stableford format 2 to count.
A highlight of the day is the ‘beat the pro’ challenge on a par 3 hole, where participants will have the chance to test their skills against a professional golfer, with further details to be announced.
Among those already taking part on the day will be renowned Sky Sports rugby league commentator Dave Woods as well as players and coaching staff from the club, as well as club mascot Roary, making the event a fun, family-friendly occasion.
All participants will be served bacon or sausage butty on arrival, before an 18-hole shotgun start at 1pm.
Following the golf, guests will be served a two-course meal. There will also be a range of activities including a raffle and auction.
Teams of four cost £240, or £60 per person.
