Roughyeds have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season in their return to the Betfred Championship, with a stunning victory over York Knights followed up by a dramatic late draw against Batley Bulldogs.

The Challenge Cup run continued too, thanks to an impressive home win over Barrow that earned Sean Long's men a trip to Super League Grand Finalists Hull KR.

But who scored the best Roughyeds try?

Riley Dean has enjoyed a fine start to 2025, and capitalised on a smart Josh Drinkwater kick to touch down against Barrow.

Drinkwater was also the supply line when his sumptuous delayed pass sent Danny Craven over in the same game.

Kieran Dixon scored a scorcher against York who will probably not want to see another Oldham kick return for a while.

And Jack Johnson competed his hat-trick in the corner as Oldham found a way to fightback against the Bulldogs.
