Ford thanks Yeds for pathway donation

Managing director Mike Ford has thanked the Yeds Supporters Group and Pathways sponsor Mark Shaw for a recent £1000 donation to the Oldham RLFC 1876 Pathway Programme.
The donation is a valuable gesture to the club and will go a long way in the drive to establish the best youth development programme in rugby league. The funds will be used exclusively to fund the pathway programme and represents a significant example of the club and Yeds supporters club working together as partners.
"I know that 10% of YEDs 2025 membership fees and 50% of the YEDs Christmas Party proceeds contributed to this donation and I am very grateful," said Ford
Special thanks to Chris and Michelle Riley, who in addition to providing venues, food and drink for various club functions, players, partners and fans at the Fox and Pine, also provided a venue and food for the Christmas Party at Crompton and Royton Golf Club.
To Dave Murgatroyd and Roary who both support the club enthusiastically home and away and to Mark Shaw for his generous contribution to this donation. Mark is the 3-year Pathway Programme sponsor but also matched pound for pound the funds raised here which turned a £500 fundraising total into a £1000 donation.
And to Jamie Hollingworth, Dave Thomas and the newly established Yeds committee for making this fundraising possible by leading the Yeds supporters group.
I would also like to thank Dave Thomas, Julie Smith and Luke for working in the club shop trailer on our club kit release day. Their hard work ensured that the majority of a large crowd were kept supplied with 2025 shirts and merchandise which resulted in record club pre-season merchandise sales.
I also heard what an outstanding job the Yeds did by planning, purchasing, donating, storing and distributing food, clothes and toys to those in the local community who were in need at Christmas time. The club applaud and are proud to be associated with such generous and charitable acts of kindness and the contribution of your own personal money and time."
