Tom Nisbet took home two of the evening’s big honours, winning both the Supporters’ and Coaches’ Player of the Year awards, while Matty Ashurst was named Players’ Player of the Year.

The evening marked a historic occasion for the club, with the men’s and women’s teams coming together to celebrate their achievements for the first time.

Roughyeds Women enjoyed a superb inaugural campaign in Northern League 3, finishing as runners-up.

Katie Stephens was named Coaches’ Player of the Year, while young hooker Kadie Ashworth took home the Players’ Player of the Year award. Head coach Ben Marsden selected prop Nicola Robinson as the team’s Rising Star, while captain Laura Thorley was recognised with the Clubperson of the Year award.

The evening also included a poignant tribute to former pathway coach Paul Cook, who sadly passed away earlier this year. The Pathway Award was presented to fellow pathway coach Anthony Fitton in Paul’s memory.

Long-serving club photographer David Murgatroyd received the Outstanding Achievement award in recognition of 19 years of dedicated service, while Owen Farnworth’s dramatic golden-point winner against Widnes Vikings was named Try of the Year
