NEW SIGNING Nathan Roebuck goes straight into the 21-man squad ahead of Sunday’s game against Newcastle Thunder.

Roebuck, whose signing was announced this morning, can play wing or centre and joins on a deal until the end of the season.

Joining the former Keighley man is Mackenzie Turner and Kieran Tyrer who also come into the squad.

Mo Agoro misses out through an abdominal injury while Kian Morgan is not included after suffering a hamstring injury early on against North Wales.

Jamie Ellis also does not feature this week due to the birth of his newborn daughter.

Roughyeds head to the Gateshead International Stadium this Sunday in search of their first away win against Newcastle in nearly ten years.

Oldham have lost in each of their past three away games against Thunder, with the last win coming in August 2015.

Thunder, having lost each of their opening ten games in League One, are currently bottom of the table.

Oldham will be looking to build on the reverse fixture, which saw them come out on top with a 74-0 victory.

Squad in full: Aldridge, Astley, J.Chapelhow, T.Chapelhow, Craven, Farnworth, Gallagher, Hirst, Jack Johnson, Josh Johnson, Kopczak, Laulu-Togaga’e, Moran, O’Keefe, Paga, Roebuck, Taylor, M.Turner, C.Tyrer, K.Tyrer, Wildie.
