We look forward to welcoming all supporters to Bower Fold for our match on Sunday 19th April (3:00pm KO) vs Hunslet.
Whether you have attended before or are a first-timer, a warm welcome awaits you from Chairman Bill, the directors, all the staff at the club, and our wonderful volunteers.
Sunday marks ORLFC’s first game of the season in the 1895 Cup, a competition in which we reached the semi-final last year. It also offers a break from our Championship fixtures as we face Hunslet for a place in the quarter-final draw. Every game counts this season, so please get behind Killer and the boys and support the team, who are currently five games unbeaten.
Two sets of turnstiles will be in operation on Sunday: the lower turnstiles for cash/card payments and season or pre-paid tickets, and the middle turnstile for disabled supporters and season/pre-paid ticket holders. Please note there will be no cash accepted at the middle turnstile.
The Gray’s Lounge entrance will be for 450 Club members and those who have booked matchday hospitality for this game. However, the Gray’s Lounge bar area for supporters has been significantly increased in size for this match, and food will be available to purchase on the day. While the Celtic Lounge will not be open on Sunday, there are many other points around the stadium serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Turnstile Entrance
The turnstiles in use on Sunday (clearly marked on ground maps and with signage above each entrance) will be:
Lower Turnstiles – 2 in operation:
Turnstile 1: Cash and card payments
Turnstile 2: Scanning pre-bought and season tickets
Middle Turnstile – For disabled supporters only

Toilet Facilities
For supporters using the Gray’s Lounge bar who experienced difficulty finding toilets at our previous match, ORLFC has installed portable toilet facilities, including a disabled unit. This should ease congestion and reduce confusion around the main lounge.
Hospitality
450 Club guests and those who have purchased hospitality or the pie and pea option should follow the clearly marked directions on the map. To improve flow, there will be a reception check-in and a personal guide to take guests to their tables.
Golden Gamble
Several of our excellent volunteers will be operating around the lounges, bars, and stands selling Golden Gamble tickets. Please support the club by purchasing a ticket.
We continue to learn from matchday experiences at Bower Fold and are always happy to receive constructive feedback. If you would like to help or volunteer on a matchday or during the week, please don’t hesitate to contact me at david.bottomley@roughyeds.co.uk
Enjoy the game – Up the Roughyeds!
Best regards,
