As we continue to build our squad for the 2025 Championship season, we can confirm that Josh Johnson, Jamie Ellis, Kian Morgan and Adam Sidlow will leave the club.

The players were a key part of our title-winning season in League One and depart with our best wishes for the future.

Sidlow enjoyed a successful loan spell from Salford and is now back with the Red Devils squad for the conclusion to the Super League season.

Morgan requested a release from the remainder of his contract which was granted by the club last month.

The 34-year-old Ellis moves on having made 14 appearances for the Roughyeds this season, scoring a try and kicking 61 goals.

Johnson was a key member of a dominant Oldham pack who helped produce the best season defensively for an Oldham side since 1911.
