Supporter launches player sponsorship fundraiser

Lifelong Roughyeds supporter Andy Barratt has kickstarted a GoFundMe to raise money for 2026 player sponsorship.

Oldham RLFC are aware of the current financial climate, and this initiative provides an additional way for supporters to contribute towards the club, in a way that suits them.

Player sponsorship packages remain a fantastic opportunity to back your favourite Roughyeds players while directly supporting the squad. With a number of packages still available, there is still time to get involved.

Roughyeds have made a strong start to the season, with Alan Kilshaw’s side looking to build on last year’s fourth-place finish and continue their progress in 2026.

At the time of writing, the fundraiser has raised £200. We would like to thank Andy for his efforts in setting this up.
