Tickets are now on sale for Oldham’s away sudden death play-off tie against Widnes Vikings on Sunday September 20, 3pm kick-off.
Prices are £20 for adults, £18 for concessions, £12 for under 18s, £5 for under 12s, with those aged under five going free.
Roughyeds booked their trip to the DCBL Stadium thanks to a first second division play-off win in 24-years, when they defeated Midlands Hurricanes 46-16 on Sunday.
Alan Kilshaw’s men were deserved winners in their last visit to Widnes when they earned a 28-10 win back in June.
But a narrow defeat a fortnight ago in the qualifying semi final, where the Vikings grabbed a narrow 30-24 win over Oldham, means Roughyeds will go into this clash with a point to prove.
The lads were well-backed in that away win over Widnes and they will need another strong support as they seek a win to be 80 minutes away from the Championship Grand Final.
Victory on Sunday would leave Oldham as the highest-ranked of the sudden-death play-off winners, thanks to their third-place finish in the Championship.
As detailed by the Rugby Football League here, the highest-ranked side would then face a trip to Newcastle Thunder, who have qualified as the lowest-ranked of the qualifying final winners.
