Vote for your Player of the Year

The vote to decide your 2026 Player of the Year is now open.

The winner will collect the Supporters’ Player of the Year trophy at our End of Season Awards evening at St Annes Rugby Club on October 15. Tickets for the evening are on sale here.

For the fifth consecutive season, Roughyeds have finished higher than the year before, with 2026 bringing Oldham’s highest league finish since 1997.

But who has stood out most in an Oldham shirt across a memorable campaign?

Outgoing half-back Josh Drinkwater has produced plenty of stellar moments, while Owen Farnworth scored the golden-point try that will be talked about for years to come.

Jake Bibby finished as Oldham’s top try-scorer with 17, while Matty Ashurst, Luke Forber and Jack Walker were also among the leading scorers.

Ted Chapelhow has delivered consistently throughout the campaign, with one of his standout moments coming when he darted past a hapless Reagan Campbell-Gillard as Roughyeds stunned London 34-24 at Boundary Park.

Tom Nisbet brought plenty of bite to the Oldham side and did not miss a game all season, while Brad Day has quickly become a favourite since arriving from Halifax.
