We can confirm that our pre-season friendly against Castleford Tigers will take place on Saturday, January 10th at the OneBore Stadium, kick off 3pm.

The game at Wheldon Road will be Roughyeds’ first outing ahead of the 2026 Betfred Championship season, which kicks off the following week.

Roughyeds supporters will be based in the Railway End and tickets are available direct from us – please purchase via our online shop here.

Ticket prices are:

Adults £18
Concessions £14 (60+, Students, U16s)
Junior £8 (U14)
*Carer and under 5 tickets will be available via the Castleford Tigers ticket office on the day of the game. 

We are aware that some supporters will still travel to Benidorm on the weekend of this fixture, despite the cancellation of our proposed fixture there, and this was a date we were keen to avoid.

We explored every possibility of alternative dates but this has proved the only available date for both clubs to fulfill this fixture ahead of the new season.

Rest assured that for those unable to make it to Castleford, we will have our usual full live coverage with George and the team on Roughyeds TV.
