David Bottomley promoted to CEO

The Chairman and board of directors at ORLFC are delighted to announce that David Bottomley has been promoted from his current role as head of operations and commercial, to the role of Chief Executive Officer.

David joined the club in late March 2025, and very quickly demonstrated the ability that backed up his background in employment of both senior positions in corporate life, success in building SMEs and significant involvement in professional sport.

He has proven to be a person that is not only diligent and hard-working, but someone who cares passionately about the future of ORLFC.

He has been a great support to myself and the board, particularly in recent times and has brought calm, professional thinking and action that has benefitted the club in so many ways, and most importantly is someone I can trust 100% and know that everything they are doing is to the benefit to ORLFC and its supporters.
