Oldham are delighted that Ryan Lannon has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.
The second-rower has been in fine form this year, scoring three tries in six appearances.
Lannon has impressed since signing mid-way through the 2025 season which culminated in him earning a deal for the current campaign.
And head coach Alan Kilshaw is delighted to have Ryan on board for another season at least.
“I have really enjoyed working with Ryan over the past few months,” he said.
I’ve always found him a threat to coach against, so to be able to have him in my side, I am very pleased.
He offers a different threat in a range of positions. He is a really good strike player on an edge as a back rower, and as a middle.
He is very hard and difficult to tackle through the middle. He is durable and can play those positions really well.
I think with the modern game, and the way it is speeding up, it will suit him even more so.
We will see the best of Ryan Lannon in an Oldham shirt for years to come.”
Ryan is still available for sponsorship for the remainder of the 2026 season, email david.bottomley@roughyeds.co.uk to enquire.
