We are pleased to confirm that centre Ben O'Keefe has signed a new contract with Oldham to remain with the club for the 2026 season.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Roughyeds in 2025, having missed the early part of the season through injury.
His one-year contract extension follows winger Kieran Dixon who signed on again last week.
"I'm excited. I have only caught the back end of this season due to injuries so this is exciting," O'Keefe told Roughyeds TV.
The sky is the limit for what we can achieve here. We keep signing unbelievable players and the talent we have in this squad is immense so it is up to us really.
When you have a big group of players and your goal is the same, then everyone bonds and it is fun. You walk through these doors and everyone is on the same page."
O'Keefe has scored 5 tries in his 11 appearances this season, having crossed 13 times in just 12 appearances in Oldham's League 1 title-winning campaign last year.
He broke through at Wigan, making his Super League debut for the Warriors in 2022.
"I'm only young, I'm only 23 - some of these lads are 35! So I'd like to think I'm still improving," he said.
If I came back from injury at 40% then I'm probably up to 60% now, so hopefully we finish the season strong and then next season find our stride!"
Head coach Sean Long added:
"Ben has come back from injury and nailed down a place in the starting side which is credit to him.
He is a talented lad and I have no doubt we have not scratched the surface yet of what he can produce as a player."
