Head coach Sean Long is expecting a massive turnout from Featherstone Rovers fans on Sunday and has urged every Oldham supporter to get to Boundary Park to watch what he says will be "an absolute cracker" of a Betfred Championship fixture.
Long led Featherstone to the top of the Championship as head coach two seasons ago, and despite Rovers' struggles this year he believes a huge away following could make for a difficult Sunday afternoon at Boundary Park.
As such the Roughyeds boss wants every Oldham fan to pack out the Joe Royle Stand, as the team bids to make it four wins in a row.
"Our fans towards the back end of the game against Barrow rode us home and we are going to need you on Sunday as Fev will travel in numbers and get behind their team," Long told The Boundary Line on Roughyeds TV.
"It's going to be an absolute cracker of a game, I expect it to be really physical but with some really exciting shapes going on. So get down, support us and fingers crossed we will get the win for you."
The club is urging fans to book tickets in advance to help manage numbers, with the usual ticketing cost of £20 for adults in place but rising by £4 for any purchases made on the day.
Rovers are now coached by former England half-back Paul Cooke and are also through to the last four of the 1895 Cup. They could yet be drawn against Oldham, with that semi-final draw also taking pace on Sunday at Boundary Park, before the game.
"Featherstone are very dangerous and their fans are very passionate," added Long.
Paul Cooke has come in and seems he is taking them in a really good direction. Fev are very aggressive, with tough forwards and we will have to win the physical battle. It will be who turns up with the right attitude and does the hard stuff first.
We have parked the Cup now, we are in the hat but that has gone for now. Our focus now are these league fixtures and if we can knock off two or three wins then we will be up in the mix."
