Centre Ben O'Keefe says fans have not seen anywhere near what he is capable of producing, as Oldham prepare for a big 2026 Championship season.
The 23-year-old former Wigan youngster endured an injury-ravaged start to Oldham's return to the Championship in 2025, before showing glimpses of the electric form that saw him score 13 times in just 12 appearances in the 2024 title-winning campaign.
And now with a full pre-season to go at, O'Keefe has promised fans there could be fireworks in 2026.
"We have nowhere near seen the best of me yet," O'Keefe told Roughyeds TV.
"I need a good pre-season and the main thing is to stay injury free. I missed 16 weeks last year so I will keep doing extras, keep the body ticking over and keep injury free."
With Oldham's squad having returned to the Netpar Training Centre earlier this month, O'Keefe believes these are the key weeks that could shape Roughyeds' prospects for the New Year.
"Pre-season is where you build the foundations," he said.
"A hard pre-season can make for an easier season. We had six weeks off to rest and recover but it's good to be back.
"We have a new group of lads with a few new faces and everyone is enjoying it which is what it is all about."
