Make sure to get down to Netpar Training Centre this Sunday, ahead of Oldham's 1895 Cup clash – with Roughyeds Women taking on Manchester Swinton Lionesses at 12pm.
Originally scheduled to be getting their Northern League 3 campaign underway this weekend against Keighley, Ben Marsden's side will instead test themselves with this friendly.
The Cougars – who Oldham demolished earlier in the year before the game was abandoned – were unable to field a team and have thus forfeited the fixture with Oldham awarded an automatic 48-0 victory.
Roughyeds have since worked hard since being informed Keighley would not be fulfilling the fixture, to secure this test against Swinton.
Oldham have played three matches so far, having suffered defeats to Championship sides Sheffield and Widnes most recently in the Challenge Shield.
As a result of other results, the side have secured a spot in the last four of the Challenge Plate where they will travel to West Yorkshire to take on Bradford Bulls on Sunday, June 21.
Marsden's team go into the game on the back of the 32-6 loss to Widnes – and you can watch highlights of the game here.
Swinton are a seasoned Championship side, having finished 5th in the league last year winning seven of their ten fixtures.
They have started 2026 strongly, defeating Sheffield, Widnes and Leigh Miners Rangers comfortably.
Head coach Marsden has named his squad for the game. Ella Wheeler has been promoted to the starting 13, having missed the Widnes clash, while Amy Ashmore drops out.
Rhys Morgan and Ellie Armstrong are also brought onto the interchanges bench, with Lily-May Gray out and Ann-Marie Challoner the 18th player.
