Oldham return to Betfred Championship action this Sunday to take on Workington Town.
Roughyeds will be looking to secure their sixth straight league victory when they face off at Bower Fold (3pm kick-off).
Oldham have a good recent record over Town and will be hoping that form continues this weekend.
Team News
Alan Kilshaw has named a similar squad to the side which was announced ahead of last week's demolition of Hunslet.
New signing Luke Forber goes straight into the squad, with the former Rochdale and North Wales winger in contention to make his Roughyeds debut this weekend.
Luke Thomas is back with Warrington, having rounded off his one-week loan with Oldham with a try.
Jack Walker, who was taken off as a precaution with a potential hamstring strain, has made a full recovery and thus maintains his place in the squad.
Morgan Smith, Brad Day, Ben O'Keefe and Iain Thornley are each nursing their respective injuries and remain sidelined.
Squad in full: 1. Jack Walker, 2. Kieran Dixon, 4. Ben Davies, 5. Jake Bibby, 7. Riley Dean, 9. Matty Wildie, 10. Owen Farnworth, 11. Matty Ashurst, 12. Ryan Lannon, 13. Adam Milner, 14. Cole Geyer, 15. Ted Chapelhow, 16. Ewan Moore, 18. Jaron Purcell, 21. Tom Nisbet, 23. Josh Drinkwater, 24. Marcus Geener, 25. Sam Littler, 27. Bayley Liu, 29. Luke Forber.
The Opposition
Workington have only won two of their opening nine matches in the Championship, but their last two performances suggest the Cumbrian side will still pose a threat to Oldham this weekend.
They edged past fellow Cumbrians Whitehaven with a narrow 22–14 victory, before mounting a comeback against third-placed Midlands Hurricanes, ultimately falling just short in a 24–20 defeat.
Recent meetings between the two have gone the way of Oldham, with Workington winless in their last six over Roughyeds.
Coached by Jonty Gorley, Workington narrowly missed out on being named 2025 League One champions after being pipped to the post by North Wales Crusaders by a single point.
