Women back at Netpar this Sunday

Roughyeds Women take on Crosfields this Sunday at Netpar Training Centre (2pm kick-off).

Having fell to a narrow defeat against Wigan St Pats last week, Ben Marsden's side are back on home soil looking to get back to winning ways.

Warrington based side Crosfields go into the game off the back of a confidence-boosting 62-0 win over Keighley, having lost all three of their previous games.

Currently fifth, they – like Oldham – ran Wigan St Pats close in defeat, hinting that their recent return of just one win in four games does not tell the full story.

Ex Rochdale star Molly Udale-Williams – fresh from making her Oldham debut in the halves – is this time preferred at hooker. Yvonne Williams starts in the second row.

Marsden have also strengthened the squad with the addition of two players from Super League outfit Featherstone Rovers on short-term loan deals.

Natalie Carr returns to the side after making an immediate impact in the semi-final against Bradford a fortnight ago, scoring on her debut. She is joined by centre Ashlea Prescott, who also arrives from Rovers.

When they have taken to the field this season, however, St Pats have won all three league games, recording a 76-0 victory over Keighley before edging Crosfields 16-12.
