Oldham break new ground this week with the first Friday night Championship game of the exciting new era at Boundary Park.
The Roughyeds are flying under head coach Sean Long, on a five-match unbeaten run and with an 1895 Cup semi-final to look forward to next month that could earn the club a first ever trip to Wembley.
But before that is the first meeting of the season with the former Super League champions, under the leadership once more of their legendary head coach Brian Noble.
The game has been rearranged from the Sunday to give Oldham fans the chance to sample Friday night rugby league, with supporters having voted for it in a recent fans survey.
"We can't wait and it will be good to get Bradford on a Friday night, it is something different," Long told Roughyeds TV.
We have talked about taking each game as it comes but this now is a huge game against the Bulls.
Some of the lads will be used to it having played on Friday nights in Super League and it sets up the weekend if you get a win.
We need to get the win but we are very much looking forward to it."
