Get your kids active this summer with our free HAF Camps, from Oldham Rugby League 1876 Foundation!
We are excited to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for children and young people to get active this summer, learn new skills, make new friends and have fun at our action-packed Summer Sports Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Camp.
The four-week long camp at the Netpar Training Centre - home of Championship side Oldham RLFC - from Monday July 28th, provides a safe an engaging environment for 8-12 year olds to enjoy a variety of sports and activities throughout the school holidays which are designed to foster strong social skills and enhance teamwork capabilities.
In partnership with Oldham Council our camps form a key part of the government's HAF programme, a nationwide initiative aimed at providing healthy meals and enriching activities to all children and young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This means that eligible participants can attend our camps completely free of charge and receive a nutritious meal each day.
For those who do not receive free school meals, the camps will be £20 per day and can be booked below.
CEO of the Oldham RLFC Foundation, Chris Chamberlain, said:
"We are looking forward to working with our partners Oldham Council, as well as the community, to inspire the next generation of Oldham rugby league players and supporters"
