The club is now actively seeking players, coaches and volunteers to join our exciting journey as part of the new Oldham RLFC 1876 Pathway Programme.
The League 1 champions are preparing to kick off their Championship season next month after a stunning 2024 that saw hometown captain Jordan Turner lift the trophy aloft in front of a packed crowd as the good times returned to Boundary Park.
This month sees a Law Cup clash with rivals Rochdale next Sunday, followed by a mouth-watering friendly with Super League champions Wigan and the start of our Challenge Cup campaign at the end of the month.
But the key focus for future success of Oldham RLFC for chairman Bill Quinn and managing director Mike Ford has always been the establishment of a strong pathway system to develop the stars of rugby league's future - and keep them in Oldham.
This season has already seen Waterhead rising star Marcus Geener sign his first Roughyeds contract and we are now inviting all local players in Year 7 to Year 13, as well as anyone interested in coaching or volunteering in any role - from first aid, kitmen, administration - to register their interest.
"We are looking for coaches, physios, S&C's, managers/administrators and volunteers who want to be part of what will be an incredibly exciting journey," said Ford.
"We invite any interested players or potential staff to a meeting at Melrose at 7pm on January 8th to hear about and become involved in the future of our Oldham RLFC 1876 Pathway.
"We will present our purpose and vision along with our plan to make our pathway the best in rugby league."
