Declan Kay (Right Wing)Wigan-born wing or full-back. Beat-the-deadline loan capture from Rochdale Hornets. Career path: Warrington, Rochdale, to Oldham in August.
Zack McComb (Centre)Signed after successful trials against Barrow and Keighley ahead of 2018 season. Career path: Huddersfield Giants, Batley Bulldogs, Oxford (dual-reg), Gloucester All Golds (loan). Came up through Halifax-area amateurs Siddal.
Cameron Leeming (Left Centre)Signed in June this year. Rose through the ranks at Stanningley in Leeds, then Wakefield Trinity academy, Hunslet, Keighley Cougars and Dewsbury Rams
Kyran Johnson (Full-back, Left Wing)Also likes full-back. One of three players on a two-year deal also covering 2020. Reared at Lock Lane and Castleford Panthers before joining Featherstone Rovers on a junior scholarship, aged 13.
Paul Crook (Stand-off, Half-back)Points machine, all 1,499 of them in his seven years at Rochdale where he smashed a record that had stood since 1934. One year at Whitehaven then on to Oldham where he is now on the coaching panel. Aged 33.
Dave Hewitt (Scrum-half, Half-back)Ex-St Helens academy player who was initially here on loan before going full-time at Sheffield and then back to Oldham on a permanent deal. Contracted to Roughyeds for one more year. Good kicking game with educated left foot.
Phil Joy (Prop-forward)A one-club man -- and it's his home-town club too. Started in the reserves after leaving Waterhead and has been a senior stalwart of the front-row throughout Scott Naylor's seven seasons in charge.
Gareth Owen (Hooker)Another local and ex-Waterhead product, he is in his third year as club captain after a pro career that provided him with more than 30 Super League appearances for Salford and a spell on loan in the Championship with Sheffield Eagles.
Scott Law (Prop-forward)Player of the year in 2018 at Keighley Cougars where he had played for several years. The 'Law Man' cuts a formidable figure with his red hair and ginger beard.
Danny Bridge (Second-row)Another Oldhamer, but a 26-year-old who's been around a bit . . . Wigan and Warrington in his youth, Rochdale Hornets, Redcliffe Dolphins in Australia. Younger brother of ex-Warrington and Bradford centre star Chris Bridge.
Danny Langtree (Second-row)Oldham claim to have the best second-row in the division with Bridge and 'Langers' who's 27 and has been at the club since his teenage years apart from a short spell in Super league with Hull earlier this year. Currently the highest-scoring forward in League 1.
Liam Bent (Second-row)Tackling machine who regularly does 40 or more in a match. Played 17 games on loan from Salford in 2017 prior to becoming a fully-fledged Roughyed in 2018 when he lifted the Supporters' player-of-the-year award.
Jack Spencer (Prop-forward, Second-row)In his fourth season at the club and the son of former assistant boss Lee 'Spanner' Spencer. Career pathway: Salford, Barrow, Halifax then spells in France and Australia before arriving at Oldham.
Matty Wilkinson (Hooker)Exceptionally lively from dummy half, Leigh-born 'Wilkie' started at Salford and had spells on loan or dual-reg with Halifax, North Wales Crusaders and Oldham before becoming contracted to Roughyeds during the 2017 season.
Emmerson Whittel (Utility-forward)Another player brought in this year from Keighley Cougars following the Yorkshire club's financial crisis. A tough-tackling, strong-running forward witrh a slick pair of hands.
Jimmy Beckett (Prop-forward)Only 19 and a young forward who's on loan from Featherstone Rovers. Here to gain experience and doing a fine job as a boy in a man's world.
Jack Holmes (Centre, Wing)A regular member of the 2015 side that won promotion to the Championship. Left to join Rochdale in 2016, won promotion there too, and then came 'home' after a season and a bit at the Crown Oil Arena.
Adam Brook (Half-back)Yet another former Keighley man, but signed for Oldham on long-term loan from Halifax. Had a spell at Newcastle on loan last year before coming to Oldham.
Ben Davies (Prop-forward)One of the most experienced forwards at the club with spells at Wigan, Widnes, Halifax, Castleford Tigers and Whitehaven on his CV. Aged 29, he's in his fourth year at Oldham.
